A founding partner and member of the Cognodata Management Committee, he currently holds the position of Managing Director, and also leads the innovation and evolution of the Cognodata Group through Customer Analytics, Customer Science, big data, digital transformation and machine learning.
In the past, he has successfully led Customer Science projects in which he has collaborated in defining personalized marketing strategies by customer segments and in the design of campaign plans tailored to business objectives.
He has also actively participated in the founding of the Cognodata Group, becoming a key player in its diversification by creating the company Tinámica and the MBIT School, as well as in its internationalization by opening the Mexico City office.
He has more than twenty years of experience in the area of R&D&I in the Development of Intelligent Systems with more than 70 publications in prestigious national and international journals. He is a regular speaker at several global technology conferences on machine learning, big data and other innovative topics.
Fernando holds a PhD in Computer Science and a Master’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Southern California, as well as being an Honorary Research Professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
The creation of Cognodata was a challenge at a time in Spain when customer analytics was relatively unknown. More than 15 years later, I can proudly say that we have managed to replicate our business in other countries and make it grow, without losing our leadership or the capacity for innovation that we share with our customers.
