At Cognodata we train our consultants, with specific career plans, continuous and multidisciplinary training, to develop specialists with transversal capacities in business and technical knowledge and management and leadership skills.
Our system of 360 assessments allows us to know the progress of each person to help in their growth. We are halfway through the year and wanted to share the valuable tips and key principles that Óscar Andrés Chamache applied to become Employee of the Year 2022.
Congratulations, Oscar, for being an outstanding example in our team and a source of inspiration for all.
Now that the first half of the year is coming to an end, how did it feel to be voted the best employee 2022?
Honoured by the election, it’s not something you look for on a day-to-day basis, but it’s nice to see the support of your colleagues and friends.
To get to know you better, could you tell us about your role at Cognodata?
I am working on a project, where some of my functions consist of analysing and processing end-customer data through the development of automatic processes, making use of various technological tools and having as an end, the generation of management reports that allow to have control of the various KPIs of the business.
We know that all positions face challenges, in your case, could you give us some advice to face the challenges you have faced?
It is very important to try not to lose your cool, to always give your best whenever you can and to maintain a good atmosphere with your colleagues.
In the past year, what have you learned about yourself?
I have learned to better manage the tasks that come up every day and I am still working on it.
What would be the most rewarding thing about your work in this year of recognition?
Trying to keep learning, both on a technical and personal level and the small growth I’ve had within those areas, makes me feel good and believe that this is the way to go.
As you know, it is the rest of the teammates who vote for this recognition. Regarding the team, what do you think it brings to your work and what do you contribute to the team?
It is very nice to find a team that always supports you both personally and at work and that, in case of any doubt, I can always count on them. Many of them are great friends and I have a great relationship that contributes to the teamwork flowing better every day. For my part, I try to do my best to contribute a little to continue growing as a team.
Could you give us some advice to all of us who want to stand out in our work and be recognised as employee of the year?
I think it is very important not to hold anything back and to give 100% in our daily work, to always prioritise the team and thus generate a good working environment so that we are all working towards the same goal.

I would like to thank everyone at Cognodata and, in a special way, my project colleagues. They are a spectacular group who have given me their support whenever needed and remember that when you walk through the storm, you have to keep your head up and never walk alone.
